This package is a loosely defined collection of tools for application of Python in a laboratory environment. It consists of pure python protocol drivers for various useful devices, including: National Instrument DSTP protocol to interface Python to LabVIEW VXI-11 protocol, to allow python to talk to a host of GPIB-like instruments over a TCP/IP connection Vernier LabPro driver, to allow the very nice, inexpensive LabPro data acquisition unit to be controlled from Python (and others) along with some useful numerical and analytical extensions (splining, nonlinear least squares, etc.), in a somewhat different shape that these are found in, for example, NumPy and SciPy.
Python Laboratory Operations Toolkit is a Python script for Chemistry and Physics scripts design by Marcus Mendenhall.
It runs on following operating system: Windows / Linux / Mac OS / BSD / Solaris.
